Having worked for years in costume shops for theatre and opera at a professional level, I can create garments from idea conception to finished product, as well as perform alterations and tailoring needs with ease, both for womenswear and menswear. I can also work in crafts for costumes confidently. Other skills include historical research, moodboards, styling, buying, background costuming, continuity, and a strong historical knowledge of both costume and cultural history.
