Description Matisse loves to have his finger on the pulse of technology while serving his passion as a creative storyteller, carving a niche as a treatment designer, producer, writer and director's assistant across commercials, TV and film over the past fifteen years. With a breadth of real world experience and knowledge across diverse subjects, he excels at breaking down abstract and complex concepts into highly digestible writing and design for the purposes of project development. He has been staff writer on a produced television series, written and produced animated content that's twice been featured on Short of the Week, won the Samsung Creator Award for a short documentary, and created job-winning pitches for produced commercials with directors such as Doug Liman, David Ayer, Calmatic, David Gelb, Paul Lieberstein, Tim & Eric, Janusz Kaminski and many more. He has also ghost written for many of these directors. He has crafted treatments for companies including Sugar 23, Art Class Content, Hungry Man, Media Monks, Prettybird, SixTwentySix, Independent Media, Farm League and Happy Place. In 2023, he founded the Artificial Intelligence Creative Collective in Austin, Texas -- a meetup group for creatives using AI to assist them in their creation of visual and auditory art. The group's focus areas are: film and video, design, digital art, storyboarding, comics and other new media. He also runs the recently launched website www.bestaifilms.com, which curates and categorizes the best new content being made with AI tools. Matisse has held positions at large companies such as Anonymous Content, 20th Century Fox, Prettybird and Amazon Studios, working as a coordinator, director's assistant and talent assistant. He has taught screenwriting at Idyllwild Arts Academy and Orange County FilmEd Academy of the Arts.
