Why choose S.E.B Casting? Insight - I live right here in Colorful Colorado and have for 20 years. I personally know the locations, crews, casts and state of mind. I am boots on the ground. Not every cd listed in the CO Production Resource Guide can say that. In addition, I have lived in and developed strong ties to serveral other markets: NYC, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Texas, etc. I can cast any project in any location with an in-depth appreciation for the unique dynamics each place brings. Connection - I am closely connected to the talent pool. I work with them, I play with them, I go see their shows, I know them, I know their skills, personalities and talent - which translates to a true understanding of their individual strengths and who is best suited for which project. Perspective - I have the most uique perspective in the business. Having sat on all sides of the casting desk, (as an actor, an agent, a casting director and a production manager) I know well the intricacies and pressures of the audition/acting/casting/producing process. As a result, I changed the landscape of casting in CO into a positive, equitable, supportive endeavor, encouraging talent to bring out their best performances. When actors shine, so does the whole production. Budget - I, Shauna Earp-Ballinger, am the sole proprietor and casting director of S.E.B. Casting. No associates, no assistants. I am beholden to no one but you and your project. As a result, I can offer completely flexible casting rates to meet the demands and constraints of ANY budget. I am more than willing to meet you where you need to be. Approach - I approach all aspects of this work with kindness, humor and enthusism for the media arts.
